These recordings are used to improve our music-analysis engine. Adults only — no minors. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

• A few tips before you play
• Don't hunt for a quiet room. Your normal home sounds — a fan, people talking, traffic outside — are exactly what we want.
• Use an acoustic guitar (not electric), and give it a quick tune first if you can.
• Rest your phone somewhere natural — a table or sofa about 1–2 m (3–6 ft) away. Don't prop it right against the guitar.
• Play the loop 6–8 times through — a minute or two is plenty.
• Strum however feels natural — any pattern is fine; just let the chords ring.
• Keep going if you fumble. Real mistakes are useful data, not a problem.
